Gongyama White Gong - 11"

Sometimes referred to as a double light gong, the white gong features similar lathing to the wind gong, but with a curved profile and the cupped edge of a chao. Due to this unique profile, a subtle downward glissando effect can be heard when struck properly. Easily excitable and quick to open up to complex overtones, the character of this instrument can be described as washy and colorful, and features a complex growl when taken to its limits.
